New Residents
As you take your first step while embarking on this exciting and new journey, we understand there is a lot to get your head around before university classes start. On this page, you will find everything you need to know before you arrive.
Read the College Handbook
This will get you up to speed with the expectations of being a resident at St Catherine's. We are home to over 400 students and whilst we are not sticklers for rules and regulations, we must all abide by a code of conduct to ensure that we live harmoniously!
Complete admissions and contract documentation
Please ensure your admissions and contract documentation is complete, submitted and processed before your arrival. You will not be granted access to your room unless all documentation is in order.
Your contract documentation is where you will find information regarding your contract dates and room type.
Arriving after your contract start date
Click here to advise the College if you are arriving after your contract start date so we can arrange your check-in.
What to bring
Both our Premium Single Rooms and Studio Rooms have king single beds and are semi-furnished. You just need to bring your own linen, towels, coat hangers, and anything else you need to make your room feel like home.
If you are in a Studio Room, please note that you will need to bring your own crockery.
Please also bring suitable attire and appropriate footwear for events like Formal Hall. Suitable attire includes skirts or pants, dresses, heels or nice sandals, button-up shirts, dress pants and dress shoes.
Stay connected
St Catherine's maintains several official accounts across various social media platforms as an alternative mode of communication to residents.
Make sure you follow our official social media channels to stay up to date with the latest College news and events:
